Created or Discovered?


Over Spring Break of 2014, we were assigned an essay to write in Geometry. For the essay we had to explain on whether or not we thought Math was a created or discovered concept, and why. I decided to write on why I thought mathematics was created. I put the essay here because, I got a 90 on it and it was one of my highest grades ever in Geometry.



Waiting For Godot


For Philosophy there were a variety of different tasks for this project in which students had to pick and complete one. I chose to watch a film based on the Philosophical topic of Absurdity entitled, "Waiting for Godot" by Samuel Beckett. I had to analyze what was going on in the film, and what the characters meant by the things they did.



Utopian Allegory


For this specific work, we had to write our own Allegories in Utopia/Dystopia. An allegory is a story, poem, or picture that can be interpreted to reveal a hidden meaning, typically a moral or political one. I wrote my own 8 page story for the project and got an 80 overall.
